The Ukrainian Museum opened the doors to its new facility at 222 East 6th Street on April 3, 2005.
The new building was built with the generous support of the greater Ukrainian community, and with public funds.
Donations to the Museum can be substantially increased through matching donation programs available to employees in many companies.
If you are giving to the Ukrainian Museum, please
ask if your company has a matching donation program
and enclose your company's matching gift form when you make your contribution.
Targeted funds are are a great way to help equip the new building. Our current "wish list" includes the following:
Technology:
- new lens for the projector (~$2,000)
- software, assorted
- exhibition computers
- audio/visual equipment for exhibitions
Exhibition furnishings:
- gallery benches
- exhibition display cases and temporary, transportable walls
- shelving and cabinetry for collections storage
- display cases
- auditorium chair caddies
- piano for concerts
